Class Description
This workshop is for all levels of artist, including those who paint every day and those who have not painted at all.
Each Day will include 4 Demo and Q&A sessions. I will take you through my processes of starting, getting stuck, and finishing a piece.
The remainder of the day will be work time with individual instructor attention.
We will be working on at least 3 smaller to medium sized pieces throughout the workshop.
My whole process is based on making marks in a compostional method and painting without having a plan or preconcieved idea about the outcome of the work.

I will be encouraging you to let go of details and any "perfectionist" skills you may have
Showing you my process of making marks, messes, and constantly adding/subtracting from the surface to inspire a face/ figure to appear.
By using layer building and color composition methods, we will find true expression in our work.
As a self-taught artist, I will demonstrate that you don’t need to be a traditionally trained painter to create a piece with meaningful expression.

Location
The studio work area is 1500 sq ft and located inside my home, with lots of natural light and space. Outside of the studio space there is plently of room to just be, including kitchen, outdoor space, show room and more. The studio has a ton of natural light and great views.
Casual healthy lunch will be provided daily, I am knowledable about special diets and allergies and will accomdate the best I can. Let us know when you sign up if this applies to you.
Lodging close by includes air bnb's and hotels. When you sign up more information will be provided or feel free to email with questions
Supplies List
Everything you need to start painting is included in the class fee:
Acrylic Paint, brushes, colored pencils and painting surfaces.
There is nothing you need to bring besides your paint clothes however if you have favorite acrylic paint, brushes, or surfaces feel free to bring with you.

Payment can be made via check, paypal button below, venmo or money-order.
You will receive an email confirming your spot soon after your payment is received.
If you are not paying via paypal please email me at truemeasuregallery@gmail.com to hold your space while payment is on way.
This $100 reservation deposit is NOT REFUNDABLE. The remaining $300 must be paid in full 2 months before class (May 20th,2019) unless other paymet plans have been made.

Deposits and Cancellations
In the case of cancellations there will be NO REFUNDS made less then 2 month before class.. the 100$ hold deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE. If you can find a person to fill your spot, we can move them into your spot and you can get a refund of your deposit from your replacement student.
